The Board of Trustees is sponsoring cleanup days on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  

The SOTC Scholarship program Essay Theme is “G.O.A.T. – Greatest of All Time.” Recommendations: 1. Describe Jesus 2. Give a review of your relationships as a Christian.   Essay Requirements: College: 250 words or more, 2 or more Bible verses High School: 200 words or more, 2 or more Bible verses Other Scholars: 150 words

Lori Smith is conducting a coat drive and is asking everyone to donate new or gently used coats of any size.

Lori Smith, coordinator of the acolyte program, asks SOTC members to encourage their 5th – 8th grade children to participate in the worship service as acolytes. It’s such a wonderful and important way to serve our Lord and Savior Jesus.

If you’d like to read the daily Portals of Prayers devotions on your laptop, tablet or phone, digital subscriptions are available through Concordia Publishing House (cph.org). The cost is $10 for one year or $17 for two years. A digital subscription would help decrease the cost of purchasing printed versions by SOTC.

The Shadow of the Cross Sewing Circle meets every Thursday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in room #106. You are welcome to join them. Shadow of the Cross is now enrolled in Kroger’s Community Rewards Program. In order for SOTC to reap the benefits of this program, members and friends also need to enroll individually.
