Lori Smith is conducting a coat drive and is asking everyone to donate new or gently used coats of any size.

Lori Smith, coordinator of the acolyte program, asks SOTC members to encourage their 5th – 8th grade children to participate in the worship service as acolytes. It’s such a wonderful and important way to serve our Lord and Savior Jesus.

If you’d like to read the daily Portals of Prayers devotions on your laptop, tablet or phone, digital subscriptions are available through Concordia Publishing House (cph.org). The cost is $10 for one year or $17 for two years. A digital subscription would help decrease the cost of purchasing printed versions by SOTC.

The Shadow of the Cross Sewing Circle meets every Thursday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in room #106. You are welcome to join them. SOTC continues to accept donations of eyeglasses to support MOST Ministries. The glasses can be placed in the container on the red credenza in the Narthex. Shadow of the Cross is now enrolled in Kroger’s Community Rewards Program. In order for SOTC to reap the benefits of this program, members and friends also need to enroll individually. Once you have enrolled, every time you use your Kroger card, a portion of the money is rebated to SOTC via check. SOTC’s Non-Profit
