Consider adopting a flower bed to maintain this year!

Sign up now to have your picture taken, to be included in Shadow of the Cross’s first pictorial directory! The sign-up sheet is located on the table in the Narthex. Opportunities for pictures will take place on the following Saturdays and Sundays: May 31, June 1, June  7, June 8, June 14 and June 15.

The Shadow of the Cross Sewing Circle meets every Thursday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in room #106. You are welcome to join them. Their ongoing ministry involves making pillowcase dresses for little girls in Africa. Donations of new or gently used pillowcases are welcome. Contact MaryAnn Otsuji if you’d like more information.  

SOTC continues to accept donations of eyeglasses to support MOST Ministries. The glasses can be placed in the container on the red credenza in the Narthex. Eyeglass cases are welcomed also.     MOST Ministries provides opportunities for people to be strategically and personally involved in mission work through “Goer” and “Sender” activities. A “Goer”

Demond Fernandez, anchor/reporter at Channel 4 News, thanks Villada Brown, representing SOTC and the International Sewing Center, for donating 56 pairs of prescription eyeglasses with cases.   Channel 4 collected more than 10,000 pairs of eyeglasses in 1 day!
