Our own Andrea Ballantine plays in the second violin sections for two orchestras and invites you to attend a concert!
The Royal Oak Symphony Orchestra is the winner of Detroit Music Awards for Best Community Orchestra in 2020 and 2022, under the direction of Grammy award winner John McLaughlin Williams. The next concert is Friday, October 27, at 8 p.m., showcasing the movie music of John Williams from Star Wars, Harry Potter, Schindler’s List, Jurassic Park, and more! Tickets are $20 (13+), $15 student and seniors, and free for 12 and under. Guests are encouraged to wear a costume from their favorite John Williams movie! The Redford Civic Symphony is under the direction of Jeremy Duby. All concerts are FREE, with a goodwill donation requested.
