COVID-19 Update

  • In-person worship services are being conducted.
  • There is no longer any mask requirement at SOTC. Everyone is free to choose for themselves whether to wear one or not.
  • We have returned to collecting offerings by ushers passing the collection plates through the pews.
  • Communion will be offered every Sunday, using individual cups and wafers. Those serving communion will continue to wear gloves and masks.

Our hope and confidence is in Jesus, who is truly everywhere watching over his flock. In all of this, we remember again that we live in Christ. Jesus said not to worry, worry won’t add one second to our lifespan. So let’s use caution, follow good advice, and trust Him. Remember – even in this pandemic God is with us and has everything in His hands, by His power, and under His control.

Scripture says: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.  And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”  Philippians 4:6-7
